Oakmoss Essential Oil Pure Aged, Serbia & Montenegro (Evernia prunastri) — pure, undiluted oakmoss essential oil from Serbia & Montenegro, free from synthetic additives and bottled by hand in a dark glass bottle at GARDENS OF THE ANCIENTS® in Austin, Texas.
Aged since July 2011. This oakmoss has rested for more than fifteen years, and the long aging has deepened and rounded its mossy, earthy, leathery character.
Non-IFRA. This is the original oakmoss, not the reformulated low-atranol version made to meet IFRA fragrance standards. It keeps the full natural scent that classic chypre perfumery was built on. For perfumers and collectors.
A deep, earthy, mossy, forest-floor scent used as a fixative in perfumery and chypre fragrances.
Ingredients: Organic oakmoss essential oil (Evernia prunastri).
Caution: This essential oil is highly concentrated and should be handled with care. Always dilute appropriately for external use, keep away from eyes, and keep out of reach of children. A known skin sensitizer; use only highly diluted and patch test first. Not for use during pregnancy or while nursing.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
